  1. Well........the Red Sox came back from 3-0 down in a 7 game series en route to their drought breaking WS title. I'd imagine if the Cubs do pull it out somehow, we will have had to come back from a similar improbably deficit. And San Diego did it to us in 1984.....lol. We owe the West Coast one. It is not impossible but my god, the Cubs seem to have completely imploded on every front possible. I'd feel better I guess if these games were even remotely close. They won three in a row at home. I am fully aware of that, I'm just putting forth an example of a team coming back from 2-0 in a 5 game series. The Cubs are a decent road team this year and Dodger Stadium will have a few Cubs fans I'm sure. If Harden and Lilly are lights out, we can get his back to Chicago. If my uncle had boobs he would be my aunt.
  2. If we morph into the 2003 Marlins and put Alex Gonzalez at short and a nerd in the seats in left field...It's gonna happen.

  4. why should we assume harden will be solid? nothing would surprise me. It will be 0-0 in the 8th and a ball will hit a bird and cost us the game.
  5. So guys.....Should I buy game 6 or 7 for the NLCS? It will be really cool to see them clinch ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
  6. Why should we be cordial to a ---SOAPDROPPING--- Brewer fan on here talking Howry about the Cubs at this point? We should have let the Mets win.
  7. There is a "curse". It is called 100X more pressure than any other team in the postseason.
  8. The ultimate kick in the balls today is that I have the opportunity to buy NLCS tickets tomorrow! Awesome!
  9. We may be seeing Lowe in Game 4. If we make it that far.
  10. Like I said earlier...I don't believe in goats and curses, but the pressure on a Cub team in the playoffs is exponentially higher than the opposition.
  11. The team that has won game one in the NLDS has won every series in the last two years.
  12. The problem with a team with a history of losing is that the noose gets even tighter tomorrow.
  13. The Frank commercials are just as annoying this year when we are losing.
  14. Look at what the bullpen is doing and you will understand why Lou left in Dempster.
  15. Could this be the year that a team we play actually craps the bed for once?
