Jeff Zrebiec (Baltimore Sun) was on XM Radio saying the chance of the Bedard trade is 70/30 and Roberts after is a "possibility" yet better than a 50% chance. :roll: Also, on Roberts: Will NOT make assumption that once Bedard goes, Roberts goes. Does not see it being that quick, if at all. Angelos may say, "OK Andy, I gave you one with Bedard, I'm keeping Roberts". I can just picture Angelos saying that I don't know who to believe anymore.

I know Boston won for sure) HRs: Kevin Youkilis (1st career), David Ortiz 2004 - Red Sox @ Orioles (4-1 O's) HRs: Javy Lopez 2, David Ortiz 2005 - Rangers @ Orioles (3-1 Rangers) HRs: Alfonso Soriano, David Delucci So I've seen Soriano on 3 different teams ;)

I think I'd feel a little uneasy if Hitler were on the team Steve Stone would never come back. Nor would Sam Fuld or Jason Marquis and I would stop being a Cubs fan. -

Someone on Orioles Hangout said that Pie wasn't in the deal. I think he had a source too, but I'm too lazy to check. If it was 2 for 1 without Pie, maybe its Gallagher/Colvin. Sources cannot be trusted these days. I am probably more willing to accept someones opinion as truth before a rumor some guy heard from one of this sources. That post might just summarize this entire thread. (That is, the parts that actually have to do with the trade)

Rosenthal was on Outside the Lines on ESPN and he said Bedard to Seattle could be done tonight with Roberts to Cubs to follow soon after... I realize this is all new and unique information, so I thought I'd pass it along.

He claims that since the Mets got Santana, the Cubs have to get Bedard for any chance at the World Series? http://www.suntimes.com/sports/couch/769492,013108couchweb.article Last time I checked, Santana is the only "guaranteed win" every 5 days for the Mets with Pedro being an injury machine. Maine is overrated, IMO.

Well, I'm pretty confident the Cubs are going to get Roberts now, since they seem to be trying to replace Pie with talks of Byrd and now Crisp. Hopefully we get something along with BRob, if we give up Pie, and hopefully it's not Jay Payton.
