I don't think Denorfia is anything special but I also think we could do a lot worse as a platoon outfielder and people shouldn't lump in him with the "automatic outs" in the lineup.

He's a better option against LHP than Coghlan, so there's that. As for the "hate," other than BigSlick's post, I see people on Twitter bitching every time he's in the lineup. And Duke, he's never hit for power so it's not like we should've been expecting that.

What's with all the Denorfia hate? He's a good option against LHP and has done a nice job for us this year.

Is "beating bad teams" less acceptable than getting swept by them? Because the Pirates were swept by the Brewers not long ago.
