Yeah, no. The World Series was broadcast on Fox and Fox alone in America. The only way you got Vasgersian was in Canada or an MLB International feed. He probably saw clips of the HR using the MLB international feed. I cant remember specifically seeing the Davis HR but I know I saw clips of other WS moments with him calling it. Ahh yes now I remember hearing this call. He screams out SANTA MARIA for some reason. There's probably a good reason right? To me, this sounds like a guy shredding his vocal chords. It's possible capture the moment and be excited, but still sound smooth and professional. Vin Scully anyone? I know he's not too popular around here. And not sure what your crusade about Matty V not calling the game is about, Logan. I watch a lot of MLB Network, where he appears frequently, so that call gets played often.

I'll say that he's way over the top and sounds like nails on a chalkboard. What an odd take. "Way over the top" for a clutch home run in the postseason? Hmm ok I appreciate his enthusiasm, his tone is just hard to listen to. His call of Rajai Davis' homerun was too much. The Arrieta call was pretty good.

Say what you will about Matt Vasgersian, the dude knows how to heighten the excitement and drama of a postseason home run. I'll say that he's way over the top and sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

I was looking at different Cubs rosters & stats the other day. The 2013 team really blew my mind, it was just weird seeing all these 2016 WS Champs listed above on the same Cubs rosters as Carlos freaking Marmol, Kevin Gregg, Michael Bowden, Matt Garza, Julio Borbon, Brent Lillibridge, Logan Watkins...... Literally guys I do not remember. Alberto Gonzalez, Thomas Neal, JC Boscan, Darnell Mcdonald, Kameron Loe, Chang Yong Lim, Matt Guirrer, Darrel Walker, Ed Nealy, Henry Rodriguez (& no not the LF from the 98 Cubs), Cody Ransom, Zach Putnam, and a few more I vaguely remember... like Rafael Dolis, oh yeah he was a guy.. By the way 2016 leader in WAR was Travis Wood at 5.1, leading position player Wellington Castillo. If you followed the Cubs at all that year, you have to remember Ransom. He went on a nice little run for a few months. Don't blame you on the other names.

I live in Minnesota (never updated my location) and visited the Mall of America today. Every hat store (there are like 4 Lids') had the WS Champion hats and Champs had a limited selection of shirts. I picked up a hat and the grey trophy shirt.
