    I'm not saying a guy can't stand there and admire their handiwork. But, if they show up a pitcher, expect and accept the retaliation and the consequences that follow. If Gonzalez stands there admiring a home run today, I hope someone sticks him in the backside on his next at bat. What Soriano did was disrespectful of the opposing team. I doubt Young really meant to throw it at his head, but he did and now Lee is probably facing a suspension that he wouldn't be facing if Soriano just ran the bases. But this is the modern day ball player. I mean what player doesn't watch his HR's? Barrett consistently puts his head down and runs the bases, but he's a rarity these days.

    what do you need? I want to make an iron-on t-shirt. I need a pic of Fontenot and Theriot put with a Cubs logo with "Geaux Cubs" in the middle. I'd like a Cubs logo turned from red and blue to purple and gold and maybe the words "LSU Connection" on there somewhere. how big does the whole thing need to be? 8x10 sized would be ideal. i'll see what I can do.     cuz the cubs shelled out a lot of money for utility man (a) $13M for 3 years = not a lot of money (b) utility man has a .356 OBP and 111 OPS+ right now I totally agree. What position doesn't he play? He's been great so far.
