    My brother just became my favorite person! This friday is some big governors conference in Des Moines and my brother works in politics. He was able to get tickets for him and I to be on the field before the game, have really good seats during the game, and i think even get a free meal while we are there. I guess a bunch of the state governors are going to be there too, so i had to have a background check and carry ID the whole time. It would be great if Arnold was there too! Too bad our governor is a Pirates fan (go figure!) So Im pumped for this friday, Im going to do my best to get some autographs and pics. Ill let you guys know who i get to talk to and hopefuly who i can get some autographs from, Ill try to post any good pics i get as well.

    After watching the game last night and telling my girlfriend about 9 times how much i liked the guy and how great he looked. As long as there it room, Im all in!

    Im gonna say that he hits first or second. I think they still believe that he can be a mojor league lead-off guy.

    Just to clarify, since CPatt was sent down does that mean that he was exposed to waivers, or was he designated for assignement: meaning hes gone in the next 10 days?

    I guess i would personally like to have them go at least 3 or 4 weeks in AAA just to see if they can handle the next level of pitching. If they maintain good numbers then you can look at puting them on the 40 man and starting their option clocks. Just my opinion but i dont want them in Chicago (or anywhere near Baker) until September at the earliers. I think that we hurt Corey by pushing him along too fast and i do not want that repeated with our next group of OFs.

    As i just mentioned in another thread, I find it pretty doubtful that they jump strait to the bigs without at least a breif stop in AAA, unless Im about to see a whole new outfeild in Iowa. I could see them maybe getting a look in September, especialy if we are out of it, but i doubt they will be up as soon as July or August.

    I think that he needs to AT LEAST taste AAA. He may get a cup of coffe at the bigs as a September call up, but i really doubt that we see Muton this year.

    Not too bad. I think Seattle is getting a little shorted, they may want at least another prospects their way. Likewise we may want a little more from either the Giants or the Os in the second deal. (althoguh we still owe the Giants a little for the Hawkins fleecing). I think Ray Durham is a step down from Walk. Would Gibbons be a bench guy or would Burnitz, What happenes to Nefi or are you just starting Ronny and benching Nefi?
