Jordan Morris turned down more money from Bremen to sign with Seattle. The Bremen offer came before the trial began and money was far less if they got relegated.

The MLS unveiling has been the thirstiest thing they've ever done. Even the commissioner is tweeting congratulations. You would've thought they signed Neymar. If you go to their website, the four stories on their banner head are all about Morris. It's ridiculous.

I just really appreciate how committed he is to becoming the next Landon. He even gets the smallest details right. Thinning hair, homesick in Germany, style of play, talent; he really gets the bit.

Yep, that was a great one.

Good day today with both Manchester teams dropping points. Would have liked a Liverpool tie or loss also but they were winning entering injury time so I can't complain too much.

5 points up on ManU and 8 up on Liverpool, and only two back of City. Would love an Arsenal draw tomorrow also.

I swear Arsenal just can't do it vs Chelsea. Need to find a way to get Costa sent off now.

In USWNT news, Sidney Leroux is pregnant, and will miss the Olympics, and I would guess, the NWSL season. Sucks for FCKC...they'd just traded for her.

Jelle Van Damme said goodbye to the team and fans at Standard Liège last sunday because he's moving to LA Galaxy.
I thought MLS was done paying old and declining European ex-internationals?

NYCFC brought it back into vogue with Pirlo and Lampard. The Galaxy have signed Steven Gerrard, Ashley Cole and Van Damme in the last calendar year. It's not winning titles for anyone. I don't know why it's happening again.

Tim Howard supposedly close to going to Colorado Rapids. Been gone from the MLS 13 years.

It's time for Everton to move on. We should move on after Copa too. Skip past Guzan and go straight to Steffen, Hamid etc.

I'm concerned about MIazga. He can make a super high profile move to Chelsea and never play. I never like England as the first move abroad. Too much pressure on PL managers to play young imports big minutes.

Sounds like it's almost official. Hopefully Chelsea actually wants him rather than their usual FFP strategy of buying young talent just to buy and then loan it out perpetually.

The club who will sign him have had to give assurances that he will have a chance of a first team breakthrough. He will not be shipped out on loan.

I don't know. I think they'll loan him out.

US U-17 next great hype, Christian Pulisic, debuted for Dortmund today.

That's not the movement of a 17 year old. He looks special.

So Miazga signs with Chelsea, CCV is about to debut for Spurs at 18, and Zelalem is doing well at Rangers. Senior team is in a lull right now, but the future looks great.

Pulisic is a special player. Probably the best U-20 prospect, including Miazga.

He looks sharp and quick to turn upfield and attack.

Keep him away from Jurgen.

So Clint tears up a red card, gets suspended and loses his captaincy. Jones goes after a ref, gets a larger suspension, and not only gets called into camp and will probably play today thanks to the technicality of him not having a club team. No consequences for him from Jurgen.

Got to love our totally unbiased coach.
