Isn't Al also the one who was convinced that the Patriots were going to take a knee and go to OT vs. the Rams (Super Bowl), and then completely no-called the game-winning FG?

Oh, that's right. It was Summerall/Madden

And Summerall sounded like that literally all the time so there was nothing unusual about his underplaying the winning FG.
