Re: Blackhawks rebuild 2.0
I think the Blackhawks have finally accomplished assembling the worst team in the NHL.
This team is going to be unwatchable aside from Kane this season, and hopefully they can trade him for some future value before FA next year.

Seems a bit horrifying for the Hawks to be matched up against the Avs for everyone to see on TNT. I guess I’ll watch it.

It's unbelievable how Seth Jones went from All-Star to demanding a trade, to signing a big deal to completely stopping being a good player

Yeah a pretty good but flawed player. Certainly not someone you want to commit to as the 4th highest paid defenseman in the league for the next 9 years with a full NTC.

4 wins in a row. Is any of it sustainable or are the advanced stats showing this is fluky?

I looked this up on my own. Based on CORSI and Fenwick, the Hawks are playing like one of the worst 4 teams in hockey. And their recent performances during the winning streak don't necessarily suggest an improvement. In fact, last night's game was their poorest performance of the season.

Re: Blackhawks rebuild 2.0
Hawks looked like they were poised to lose about 20
In a row in the back half of November, then came in and upset the rangers. Those are fun wins, despite the draft ramifications. Beating a playoff bound team that thinks it can contend for a cup, in their building, especially when it’s NY, is what sports are for. I’ll be watching them Tuesday in Newark and fully expect a blowout loss.

Re: Blackhawks rebuild 2.0
Just putting this here because it’s the most recent loss: the Bulls, Bears and Blackhawks are a combined 19-40.
Detroit sports dealt with this for the last 5-6 years and now we are unless daddy Ricketts opens up the pocketbook

Re: Blackhawks rebuild 2.0
Sure didn’t look like the Hawks were too eager to stop that Ovechkin hat trick.
Happy for the guy he’s an all time great but I guess playing host for the greatness of others is all we have left.
