So LIV is basically doing an infomercial on Fox Sports 1 for their horsefeathers version of golf.
They are PAYING to have their tourney televised. Supposedly the people at Fox nixed it until Murdoch's son told them they had to do it.

Starting to get the itch to play again after a decade plus of not playing, but I'm not sure my body is ever going to be not broken enough to even get through 9.

I started back up last year after not playing since my kids were born. My shoulders are held together by dollar store duct tape (not even lowe's or home depot duct tape.) Still worth it.

Fox had a bad recent experience with golf broadcasts. Partway through their USGA deal, they got out. Fox is paying NBC $40 million a year to take golf off their hands. No surprise they didn’t want LIV until Murdoch made them.

If me and my wife have the same names and roughly the same address as a pro golfer who’s in the The Masters and the invite is mailed to me instead I think I take my chances and show up and try and see if they let me in and play. “You sent me an invite and that’s my name, let me in the field.”
