Yeah, just signed up last night, too. I'm going to be real curious to see what other Earwolf shows end up moving over once their respective deals/contracts/whatever run out. I'd figure stuff like Questions for Lennon or the Gino Lombardo Show will make the jump (I hope).

I cannot get enough Dalton Wilcox, and have become a big fan of Lily Sullivan. Scott hasn’t seen has also been a ton of fun.

Need a new podcast app for iPhone. Been using the apple one and recently it started deleting every unplayed episode of some of my podcasts. Has happened a number of times the last couple weeks despite me upgrading to the latest iOS and uninstalling then reinstalling the app.

So what’s a good one for downloading and listening?

My usage isn't terribly complicated, but I'm pretty happy with Overcast. I have playlists set up for shows that have time sensitive episodes that are high priority listens v. low priority, and another for evergreen content that isn't time sensitive.

I second that. Overcast has been working great for me.

This is a really good read, and by "good" I mean "so horsefeathering infuriating." Venture capitalism* can suck one.

*AKA just capitalism.

And on the micro level, it's flat out astonishing how bad the Stitcher app was relaunched almost 2 years ago; it is flat out one of the worst apps I have ever encountered, and every update just adds new problems. You'd swear they were actively trying to kill it; it went from being, like, a 4.5 star app in the Google Play store down to 2 stars, which is bonkers for something that many downloads. I road it out until my subscription ended only by forcing back to the last update prior to the big overhaul.
