There's only one right answer here...this movie is toast.

I watched The Grey Man on Netflix. As far as Bourne knock-off movies go this one was pretty entertaining. Chris Evans though, not a real good actor.

In other knock-off movie reviews, I also watched Uncharted. It was... not good. The spiderman guy was fine, everyone else including Marky Mark, and the story was bad.

Both movies are angling for a sequel, I might watch a second Grey Man movie, but definitely not Uncharted 2.

Imagine watching The Gray Man and not getting completely lost in Ryan Gosling's eyes.

I just saw a teaser for Idris Elba’s next movie. He was punching a lion in the face in hand to claw combat

For what it was, I thought Prey was really, really good. Not perfect, but miles better than I was expecting going in. I would say it's the second best in the franchise behind the first. I didn't realize until after that Dan Trachtenberg directed, and I am a fan of his work.

Given the spotty track record of Predator movies, I understand not giving it a theatrical release, but the cinematography and sound design are so good I think at least a limited run would be justified.

This is not a new clip, and I think Matt Damon can come off as a guy that thinks he knows more than he really does about a lot of things, so I wasn't expecting much as I watched it...but this is interesting and makes a lot of sense to me.

Just cancel it, please. I say that as a big fan of the character, The Flash.

It looks like they're trying option #1 though...

I keep hoping that Kevin Smith or someone will just buy it from WB and release it themselves

I basically never watch movies, but for some reason I decided to watch Black Phone last night. Despite the fairly high ratings, that was one very generic and mediocre movie. Also, what is up with the kids in this town and beating each other half to death? What kid has a fight like that?

Not seen it yet, and I am a huge horror movie fan, but this sorta looked like crap. The mask isn't all that creepy, the hostage/torture genre is played out, and I’m not buying Ethan Hawke as some psycho.

Late to the game but watched 500 Days of Summer the other night with my wife and we both loved it. A little confusing with the non-linear story-telling but good pace, funny, and great performances. Definitely worth the watch.

Here's a not-so-old-but-not-new movie I just watched: Dark Waters with Mark Ruffalo.

Guess I'm going to avoid plastics at all costs and only cook on cast iron the rest of my life. It's like Spotlight, but it's about how Dupont is murdering everyone in the world with cancer. Highly recommend.
