the ny times political coverage has just been incredibly bad for months now. they basically decided that it's a midterm election and the party in power usually loses, so the tone of all of their reporting has been in a manner assuming that republicans will completely trounce the democrats. they've run multiple articles about questions about fetterman's stroke while completely ignoring the absolute mountain of baggage that horsefeathering mehmet oz has, like paying out millions for hawking bogus weight loss pills or the fact that he's running for the senate in a state that he basically has zero connection to. they did polling on four close House races that actually had pretty good results for democrats, but their headline was that it confirms that republicans are looking good to retake the House. it's like their entire political journalism division just fancies themselves as pundits and all of their reporting is driven by their pre-disposed biases.
