I don't know totally how to feel about the ending. Obviously a pretty good S2 hook where I'm sure we'll find out more, but was a little forced feeling. Otherwise thought it was a really well written and acted show.
And loved many of the small Chicago-isms in it

Just starting watching this, getting a bit of hype. First episode had an Uncut Gems feel to it with the total craziness going on.

Just binged Barry and it's probably my #1 show when Better Call Saul ends, so damn good

It was ok. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. I'll watch next season.

I really hate that Derwood having kids old enough to be working makes me feel old.

I don't know what happened to Stranger Things in Seasons 2 and 3 but this season was great. I thought Season 1 was the best but I think the last 2 episodes changed that for me. Although Episode 9 really could have benefited from being cut down a little.

Yep. They had a lot to stitch together and they pulled it off. Glad they the finale one long episode rather than splitting it up.

I decided to try the 65” Samsung Neo QLED for my living room, and I think I may pull the trigger on an 85 to turn my basement into a theater room. My son and a good friend both have that LG, and the difference in picture is negligible.

Hoping for a second season of The Bear (given the buzz and reviews, I'd guess this is a certainty) with a bit of a budget increase and more of Chicago as a character of the show (guessing COVID played a role in this). Episode 7 (Review) was one of my favorite episodes of TV of the year.

It was pretty incredible how that episode was shot.

Bertz flipped the script and said “horsefeathers it I’m going to take this thread title literally” out of left field. I’m here for all of my TV needs now *hat tip*

To double back on the sally/skylar/etc argument: it’s pretty simple. They are both amazing shows and while some may like some acting/performances a tad more than others they ALL are awesome because otherwise it wouldn’t be great. For instance, I’m not sure I can like anyone more than I like Soho Hank yet I still think they’re all doing an amazing job. Sorry for the freezing cold take.

I swear on everything my subtitles said “soho Hank” so I just went with their word

ETA: although blonde wig Hank could definitely have been Soho Hank’s alter ego haha. Well played mojo.

For those of you rocking that LG (or my Neo QLED), you are doing yourself a disservice if you are not watching Tiny World on Apple TV+ in 4k. I finally watched the Reef episode last night, and it changed my life.
