Ok? Sounded like I was being accused of spoiling the show by giving info from later in the game (which I don't think I have)

No you're just spoiling the show by openly talking about plot points from episodes that aired less than 10 days ago in the TV thread.

I'm not usually someone who cares that much about calling out not using spoiler tags (though I use them myself out of respect for the board), but not realizing that is kind of funny.

so far the best parts of TLOU are the parts that weren't in the game

Bring back the 48 hour rule on spoilers for shows that air one ep at a time

I have; it's a very dumb meme/inside joke that has finally come "true," because who the horsefeathers still has Starz in 2023.

I don't think I've watched any Starz content since they had the Spartacus series 10+ years ago.

I was just browsing Starz content a week or so ago looking to add new movies and series to my list. Holy horsefeathers, their offering is horrible.

That was another beautiful hour of TV.

Spoiler: show
I think generally it made a lot of sense to take a bigger swing away from the source material here of all places too. The Bill stuff was fun in the game more for game play than for story reasons.

Also are we going to get a bunch of nerd rage over tonight's episode? I feel like it was implied pretty strongly that Bill and Frank were a thing but never explicit. The types of dudes who would hate tonight's episode are the exact types to completely whiff on all that subtext.

Spoiler: show
Yes, the internet is full of nerd rage. They're thinly veiling it behind "b-b-but it's not in the gaaaaaaame!" when really they hated seeing men in a deeply loving relationship

Beautiful hour of TV. I sort of knew this episode was coming and beforehand I thought it might have been a bad decision to spend an hour on a character who doesn't appear in the story before or after, but after seeing it I completely get why it makes total sense and loved it.

That episode of TLOU was close to perfect storytelling as I"ve seen in one episode of TV.
