do you think they are currently shooting the final two episodes? like they haven't written them yet and they just got word today so they're off the hook and they can cancel their plans to wrap up all the plotlines in the next 120 minutes?

No, of course not, but they've done a good job each season of wrapping thing up enough so that if its canceled, it's fairly satisfying, but also leaving things open to explore for another season. So, yes, I shouldn't say "no" loose ends

I had to watch the last episode with closed-captioning turned on. The SOLOMON machine was a) weirdly quiet b) mumbled and c) spoke with enough of an accent that I couldn't understand most of what it was saying.

Yes, but probably not this well.

It isn't as good as season 1 or 2, and I don't think its particularly close, but the episodes have been more consistent, and I've been entertained the entire time. The plot is less ambitious, but its a beautiful show.

I didn't have high expectations of the finale, but they were not quite met.

i loved the finale but i think it was mostly due to the fact that it will infuriate all the podcast losers who had these charlie day in the mailroom theories about what was happening this season.

How do people consistently, and simultaneously set expectations both too high and too low for this show?

I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Season 4 is going SO FAR down this rabbit hole....we’re going to the fifth layer of inception.

Yeah, I had a great time this season.

Now we have to wait forever for both this and BCS.

I watched that trailer thinking "didn't all these people die like 3 or 4 times already?"

Wait, what? Next thing you’re going to tell me that the first two seasons don’t take place in 1892

Stuff from the trailer and a few vague things from the writers. Bet yes, a little is talked about.

is it too much to ask that they put occasional bubbles over characters heads to indicate if they're hosts or not

I think the general rule is that if they've been around since season 2, they're a host. If they were around last year...they're probably a host.

I’m liking the set up for the season.

Is Dolores
Spoiler: show
actually writing stories for host parks, not video games? I’m guessing the guy who jumped off the roof is a self-aware host who has to keep living tragic stories day after day

Seems more like

Spoiler: show
this company is writing scripts for hosts who exist, unknown to either them or us or both, in society
