Touring this fall, seeing them in September. Great rock band.

Yeah, I saw the announcement today which made me crank up Blast Tyrant. Think they will be here 9/30. Need to get tickets.

That’s some early 90’s style horsefeathers right there.

Lol, I did post that mid-song. Even though the back half isn’t my favorite kind of beat, I appreciate that his vocals are strong and on top of the beat (as opposed to mumbly and mixed down)

Curry's albums have been all over the place stylistically from the jump; it's one of the things that makes him so awesome. Definitely seek them out.

I love that the covers for the last 3 LP's look like they're completely out of order for how you'd maybe expect a rapper's career to go:

Speaking of RAWK, we're going to see Japanese Breakfast and Belle & Sebastian tonight.

Honestly, I don't know if I'll survive the brutality of the pit.

Definitely not. You would've been into it.

Thought similarly at first, but it ended up great. Each band seemed to bring their poppier/dancier sides out.

Worst part was the insane heat.

I think Piazza, New York Catcher is the only song I could sing along to.

I saw The Black Keys on their Brothers tour at an outdoor venue and it was easily 100 degrees when the show started. Miserable.

Though I’ve also seen outdoor shows that dip into the high 50’s which is somehow worse

That's like in old sports video games, where they just took the same group of, like, 5 fans and just kept replicating them to fill the stadium.

To be fair, you could say this about anything he's put out for literal decades.

Also: his horsefeathering beard. I dare you to actually get a good look at that thing and not go insane over how bad it is. Between that and his weird ass eyebrows and the constant hat, I kinda think he got knocked into a vat of acid by Batman.

Original ALICE COOPER 2015 Reunion Show Finally Available On CD, LP And Digital Shops Worldwide

Shameless plug for my friend Chris Penn. He is an Alice Cooper fanatic that has put a ton of time and work into making this happen from the original show to a 45 release 5-6 years ago, a full length vinyl about 3-4 years ago, and then this documentary which is now coming out on DVD & Blu-ray. I was lucky enough to be one of the few people at this show and because CP asked me to help Alice get to his car safely afterwards he had my name included in the thank you section of the original 45 release. That was a huge geek moment for me. I had no idea he was doing that until after it was released and in my hands.

Listening to Rage's debut and it's still as explosive as ever as it nears its 30th anniversary. Legendary album AFAIC.
