C'mon... they're awesome and this team is gonna stink. This is what you really want from this forum anyway. Keep up with the former guys here.
Also, horsefeathers the Ricketts.
Javy being Javy
Kevin's dad had an ok day
How's Philly, Kyle?
KB is awesome, at least pregame
KB and Kimbrel to end it.

I don’t know why it annoys me that all these guys changed their numbers after they left, but it does. I’m sure there were good reasons, but it still bugs me

There was a #44 prior to Rizzo on the Yankees.

Oh, I know, not saying it’s a rational annoyance

Javy's Twitter handle at one point included 23 (and might still), so I assume he would've preferred that all along. Obviously unavailable for the Cubs. That explains his Mets change but not his Tigers one since he's not wearing it for them.
Bryant wore 23 in college, I believe.

I am married to a Phillies fan. We are taking our Grandkids(she made them Phillies fans somehow) to the weekend series in Philly against the Cubs. I am a bit jealous and also kind of cheering for them this season as I was always a big Schwarber guy and really like Nic Castellanos in his brief time here.

Schwarber did his best to explain to Angel Hernandez how bad of an ump he is in the 9th tonight

Immediately followed by the broadcast team only half jokingly saying they were surprised no one had gone at Angel earlier.

This is all from the same game. That one at 1:16 to Segura is one of the worst calls I've ever seen.

Carl Edwards Jr. got a World Series ring from the Braves.
His contribution to the team: 0.1 IP, 3 H, 3 ER, 1 HR, 81.00 ERA
